C0.r. I1.-AN ACT for the bcnefit of Jdith P. Tlhrnton and  183G
her children.
Be it enacted by Ike Gen ral Assembly of the Cori- Sla% eo held
monwealih of Kentucky, That it shall be lawful for in trust, au-
Willianm Tlornton, andt his wife Judith P. Thornton, thorizd to be
and their children, to file a bill in chancery, in the
Harrison or Bonrbon circuit courts again:,t John B.
Thornton, alleging that he holds certain slaves and
real estate in trost for the said Judith P. Thornton
and her children, and that it would be advantagcoui
to the cestui que tru.qs to sell said land and negroes,
or some part thereof, and   est the proceeds thereof in
lands in some of the'new states; and on satisfactory
proof being made that the interest of the cestui que
trusts would be promoted by such sale and investiture,
it shall be, lawful for the court to decree a sale, and to
cause the proeeecl to be so invested by the said John
R. Thornton, and require hin to produce to the court,
proof of the investiture in the like trusts and uses a.;
the trust property is now held; Provided, That such
sale and decree are not in violation of the deed and
will, placing the prolerty in trust.

inoim-ealth of Kentucky, That it shall be lawful for estate author-
the adminiqtrator of .Ioelh laydock, to file a bill in  d 1 bts rp
chancery, in the circiiit cort of M'Cracken, against
the heir's of the said I 7ayd ock, aileging that the per-
sonal estate is inulleient to pay the dehfs of the said
Ilavdock, and that he hai real estate in said county ;
and said court shall, after causing the administrator
to apply all the personal estate in his hands to the
payment of the debts, and causing his accounts to Le
stated and settled, have power and authority to de-
cree a sale of so much of the real estate as will pay
the debts against Ilaydock which remain unpaid, and
shall cause the proceeds of the sale to be applied to
the payment of the debts of said Haydock; and shall,
in all other respects, conform t6 the provisions of an
act, entitled, an act vesting jurisdiction in the circuit
cotrts to authorize a sale of the real estate of infants,
