CHAP. 57.-AN ACT for the benefit of Penelope Jones,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the COi-
rnonwealth of Kentucky, That the marriage contract
existing between Penelope Jones and John Jones, hgr
husband, be, and the same is hereby dissolved, and
she is restored to all the rights and privileges of an
unmarried woman.

Cnr. 58.-AN ACT for the benefit of Beverly 8tubblefieid,
Be it cnactcd by the General Assembly of the CoAz-
monwealth of Kentucky, That the marriage contract
heretofore existing between Beverly Stubblefield and
Nancy his wife, formerly Nancy Clarke, be, and the
same is hereby dissolved, and the said Beverly Stub-
blefield is restored to all the rights and privileges of
an unmarried man.

CuA. 59.-AN ACT for the benefit of the administrator, of
George C. Goodridge.

SEC. I.- Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
the Cotmnonwealth of Kentucky, That it shall be law-
ful for Jesse Shaclklett and Fanny Goodridge, ad-
ministrator and administratrix of George C. Good-
ridge deceased, to file in the Meade circuit court,
their petition, making the heirs of said George C.
Goodridge defendants,setting forth the facts that they
are the administrator and administratrix of said
Goodridge; that they had sold the slaves and person-
al estate of said Goodridge, and applied the money
to the payment of his debts, and there still remains
due, debts against said estate, which cannot be dis-
charged without the sale of the real estate of said
Goodridge; upon the filing of which petition, it shall
be the duty of the clerk of said court, to issue pro-
cess in the nature of chancery process, against saiL.
heirs, commanding them to appear on the third day
of the succeeding term of the said Meade circuit
court, to which day said petition shall be docketted;
Provided houever, If any of said heirs shall be non-
residents, it shall be lawful for either said administra-
tor or administratrix to make affidavit of the faet
