1835    the county court of Hardin county, a majority of all

lands, and to Hardin, on the waters of Aliddle creek, for the p'ir-
purchase others pose of a poor house; which .,a&, if ordered by said
county court, shall be do)ne by some person authorized
as a commibsionr hy said c,)urt, and lie shill adver-
tise the same at thrce or more pullic pl;ic' s in the
county, which notice shall be also inerted in the Ken-
tucky Register at leost thr.,e successive weeks; the
sale to be made at the court lou'e door, on a court
day, which s-de shall he reported to the next cointy
court succeeding, and if approvcd by them, it shall be
lawful for a majority of the juitire3 in commission to
convey said land to the purcha-er or purchasers, which
said deed, so made and ak iowled~ed in ih3 county
court, shall be good and valid to pass the title of said
Proviso.  land to the purchaser: Provided, however, That said
land shall not ihe so!d, except for th3 purpcse of pur-
chasing another tract of land, lying near Eliz ibeth-
town, for the purpose of erecting ihoreon another Foor
house, together wih a hospital for the reception of
such poor or transicnt persons as may be takea thzre
sick.

CHAP. 767.-AN ACT for the benefit of Harry Bibbins, a Free Mao
of Color.
Be it enactd by the G n'ral Assembly of thc Corm-
monwe-ilth of Kentu-ky, That Harry Bibbins, a free
man of color, who emigrated to this stite from the
state of Maryland, he, and he is hereby relieved from
the provisions of the act, entitled an act to prevent
the future migration of free negroes and mulattoes to
this state, approved February 23d, 180S; and that
said Harry be henceforth entitlel to all te privileges
and immunities guaranteed by the laws of this com-
monwealth, to such persons of color as have becoma
free by the county of any of the free whi'e citizens
thereof: Provided, however, That said Harry shall en-
ter into a recognizance befure the county court of
Shelby county, with one or more g3o securities, in
the sum of five hundred dollars, pai able to the gover-
nor and his successors, conditioned, that the said Harry
shall not become chargeable to the commonwealth;
