1835     CHAP. 660.--AN ACT regulating the Fines and Forfeitures of
Marion County.
SEC. 1. Be it cnacted by the General Assembly of
Fines and for- the Commonwealth of Kentucky, That all fines and
feitures accru- forftitures now accruing, or which may accrue between

SEc. 2. Be it further enacted, That it shall be the

fines and forfeitures to the reduction of the levy
of said county, all laws to the contrary notwithstand-
ing: Provided, That nothing contained in this act,
shall be construed into a repeal of the act, entitled
an act to amend the law prohibiting the importation of
slaves into this state, approved February 2, 1833.

CHAP. 661.-AN ACT to authorize the County Courts to increase
the pay to Patrollers in Woodford, Henry and Oldham Counties.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Com-
monwealth of Kentucky, That it shall be lawful for the
county courts of Woodford, Henry and Oldham coun-
ties, if said courts shall deem it expedient, to allow
hereafter an additional compensation to patrollers in
said counties, to-wit: the sum of one dollar and fifty
cents to captains of patrol, and the sum of one dollar
to every assistant patrol, for every twelve hours they
shall be actually engaged in the duties of their office;
said compensation to be paid out of the county levy.
