ftIAP. 442.-AN ACT to enlarge the boundaries of Georgetown, and.
for other purposes.
SEc. 1. B2 it enactd by the Ge nero! qqemlI/y of the
Commonwcelth of Kcntucky, That so much of the Boundaries of
county of Scott as is cotttair.od within the present Georgetowin
bounds of Georgetown, as defined in the plan of said described.
town recorded in the office of the clerk of Scott coun-
ty, and of that part of said county, beginning at the
north-west corner of the out lots of Georgetown,near
the houseof Reisin V. Lowa rd, thence west with the
north line of said town to the middle of the spring
branch, thence south with the middle of the spring
branch and the west boundaries of Georgetown to the
beginning corner of said town, thence south to a stone
in a direct line west of the south-west corner of the
out lots of Georgetown, thence east to the south-west
corner of the out lots of the town of Georgetown, as
defined in the platt of said town, shall be, and is hereby
declared to be the town of Georgetown; and as such,
by that name, shall be capable by law of contracting Power
and being contracted with, of suing and being sued, of  -
pleading and being impleaded, of answering and being
answered, in all matters whatsoever, and in all courts
and places.
SEc. 2. Be it further enaeted, That the fiscal, pru-
dential, and municipal concerns of said town, with,
the government and control thereof, shnll be vested in Chairman ard
one principal officer, to be styled the Chairman of the eight trustees
vested with the
Board of Trustees, and eight Trustees, all of whom, powers of said
for the first time, shall be elected on the first Saturday corporation.

hold their office for one year, and until their successors
