power antd jurisdiction to decree a sale of said slave
and hor issue, and a division of the proceeds of the
sale on equitable principles, in tile same manner
courts of chancery may decree the sale of slaves de-
scended, to elfect a division; but if the court should
be of opinion that the said Luey took the entire c-
tate, then to make a decree (quieting her title.
