of the power in them vested, to compel a surrender

AN ACT for the appropriation of Money.

SEc. 1. Be it enacted by the Grueral Assemhl/ of the
Allowanccs  Commonwealth of Kentucky, That the following sum, of
made to   money shall be, and the same are hereby alloxed to
the persons hereinafter mentioned, pay able out of any
money in the treasury not otherwise appropia', d.
Speakersof   To the Speakers of the Seaate and House oi lttpre-
Sen. & H. R. sentatives, four dollars per day each.
Clerks Scuate  To the Clerks of he Senate and House of Repro-
and H. R.  sentatives, sixt) dollars per week each.
To the assistant Clerks of the Senate and House of
Assistent  Representatives, thirty dollars p- r w'ek c;,ch.
clerks.
To the Door Keepers of the Senate aid House of
Doorkeepers. Representatives, twenty one dollars per week c; h.
To the Sertveant at Arms of the Senate and l ,use
Seargents at of Representatives, twetty one dollars per week e(ich.
arms.        To Liftlebrry Bachellor, for frnishing water,
L. Batchelor. making firs, &c. for the Senate, during the present
sessio,.six dollatrs per week.
To Henry Wingate, for rendering the same services
