1830.    described, be, anti the same is hereby added to the
county of Rockhastle; all that part of Rockcastle
county, lying between little Rtocktatle river and
said lie, shall be, and the same is hereby added to
Laurel county.
Sec. 2. Ee it further enacted, That nothing in this
Oflicers to fin- act shall prevent the officers of either of ,aid coun-
ish collections, ties friom collet ting the revenue, county levies, mili-
tia fines, or executing any process which may have
issued hefore this at t takes effet.
. Sec. 3. Be it further enacted, That the surveyor
of Laurel county, shall run an(J plainly mark the
tLine to be run. line described io the first section of this act, exwept
where the saine is bomded by natural objets, and
make out and return a fair plat of said line to the
Laurel county court, to be by them recorded, and
shdl be entitled for his services, to the sum of three
dollars per day, to be levied and paid by Laurel
county.

thorized to sell
A negro.

WHEREAS, Robinson Shelburn, some years ago,
departed this life, intestate, leaving a widow and sev-
eral children, sone of whom are yet infants; that
he owned at his death a negro tuan named Joe, who
is a profligate, runaway and unmanageable fellow;
To remedy that inconvenience,
SEc. 1. Be it enacted by the General .assembly of the
Commonuealth qj Keiducky, That the widow of said
Robinson Shelburn shall he, and she is hereby au-
thorized to sell the said negro Joe for the best price
which can be had, and lay the same out in another
negro or negroes, the title to such negro or ne-
groes, when purchased shall go in the same manner
and subject to the same demands, and vested in the
same persons, as Joe now is: Provided, that said wid-
ow shall, before she -ells said Joe, give bond and
good security, in the county court of Spencer coun-
ty, in the penalty of one thousand dollars, for the
faithful discharge of her duties as is herein pointed
out.
