CHArP. 113.-An act fur the berwitt of Ncwell Beauchanip,
deceased.
WVIIErEAS, it is represented to the General.Assem-
bly by the adult heirs of Newell Beauchamp, deccas-
ed, and a number of discreet house-keepers of the
z:reauible.  neighborhood, that said Beauchamp died possessed
of a tract of land in Nelson county, lying on Chap-
lin's fork, on which land lie had erectefl a grist and
saw mill; that said Beauchamp died without a will,
that there are a number of debts due by the estate,
and to satisfy the same would take all his property,
exclusive of the mill tract, and leave nothiiig far the
wiidow and young children to live on; the heirs are
desirous the tract of land and mills should be sold,
arid not the negroes and personal property: For rem-
edv whereof,
SEc. 1. Be it enocted by the Gencral .issernbly of the
Commonwealth of Kentucky, That upon the heirs of
taid Newell Beauchamp exhibiting their bill in the
Nl'mo Cir-  Nelson Circuit Court, and satisfying the Judge of
cuitConrtau- said court that the debts of said estate require the
thrizcd to  sale to save the negroes, and that it would be for the
decree a ,ale
and convey- benefit o the heirs that said mills and tract of land
ance ofa tract should be sold, to decree a sale of said tract of land
of land.   and mil!s upon such credit as the judge may deem
expedient.
Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That after the sale
is made, and the purchase money falls due, that the
