Sec. 5. Be it further er-acted, That it shall be the  1827.

a chancery term in said circuit, on the first Monday Chan'ry term

CHAP. 152.-An act allowing additional justices of the peace
and constables to certain counties.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the
Commonwealth of Kentuck., That there shall be ap-
pointed and commissioned according to the laws now Justices al.
in force, one additional justice of the peace in and lowed certain
for the county of Spencer, one for the county of counties

county of Wayne, one for the county of Washington,
to reside in the town of New-Market.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That it shall and may
be lawful for the County Court of Wayne to appoint A constable

one additional constable, and the County Court of Wayne and
Washington one, to reside in the town of New- Wasbingtom'
Market.
WHEREAS, an act has passed this General Assembly
to authorize the County Court of Caldwell county to
appoint an additional constable in said county; by the
provisions of said act, it is provided that said consta-
