thereon, wxith the names of tile president, auditor, and treasur-
er, place them in a box or boxes, and deposit the box or boxes
in the vault of said bank, or other place of security.
3. Resolved further, That the president and directors of the
flank of Kentucky, in presence of the auditor and treasurer,
shall, on the third Tuesday in February next, proceed to can-
cel, by burning, the whole of the notes of that bank, which have
been wvithdrawin from  circulation and bccome the property
thereof.

Resolved by the General dJssembly (f the Cornmotavealth oj
K~entucky. That the amendment to the Constitution of the
United States, proposed by resolution of the legislature of
Georgia. of the twenty-second of December, one thousand eight
hundred and tw enty-three, providing  that no part of the Con-
stitut ion of the United States, ought to be construed, or shall be
construed, to authorize the importation or ingress of any per-
son or colour into any one of the United States, contrary to th
laws of such state, be, and the same is hereby disapproved by
the legislature of this commoniealth.
Resolved further, That his excellency the Governor be re.
(Iuested to transmit a copy of this resolution to the Governors
of the different states, to be laid before their respective legisla-
ftures.
