Be it enacted by the General ./lssembly of the Com-
inon.'wealIth of Kentucky, That John W. Riggs and
Joseph Paxton be allowed the sum of thirty dollars,
to be paid out or any money in the Treasury not
otherwise al*propriated; for arresting Burris, a
slave, who was charged with man-slaughter, and
convicted in :the Nicholas circuit court ; and for
money actually expended -by them.
