to purchase a children to obtain a fund, which shall be appro.

subsistance-the said coui't being first satisfied,
by aflidavit or otherwise, that tihe sale afore-
said would be conducive to tile interest of the

Be it enacted by the GeneraL Assembly of thc
Comnmonu.alth, of Kentucky, That every free
male inhabitant of the. age of fifty years and
upwards, shall be exempted from working oil
oids, streets and allies, any law to the contrary
inotwithistantding.
