Be it enacted by the General Alssembly of the Commonwealth of Aentucky$ That any person, rw hllt. and his, her or their aiders or abettors, who shall t. be convicted of wilfully and maliciously stopping the passage of salt water conducted through pipes from any well to any eistern or furnace where salt is making within this con monwealth, shall undergo a confinement in the jail and penitentiary house, fWi a period of not more than three years) nor less thant one year. Sac. 2.. Be it furher enacted, That any person, hWs, her or their aiders or abettors, convicted of wil- I 1m0 f* fully and maliciously destroying or filling up any iing up wt well or pump of salt water in use, so as to stop thu use and benefit of said well or pump, shall undergo a confinement in the jail and penitentiary house, for a period of not more tlan three years nor less than one year.
