This act shall be in force frot its passage. CHIAP. CXI. AN ACT For the better regulation of the town of Rvs- sellsvzlk, and for other purposes. Approvcd January 15th, 1810. ualacation SECT. - zt enzacted by the General Assemb!y, t wotcrs- ' .I That it shall, and may be lawful for the frec male citizens, residents of the town of Rui- sellsvillc, above tae age of twenty one years, (free Negroes, 7-,'uiattoc.s, and Indians excepted,) who laa e resided in said town for the space of six months ; and all other persons owning free hold estate May elect in said town, to elect and choose annually on the first ustees. M~onday in August annually five trustees, who shall be freeholders resident in said town ; which elec- tion shall be conducted by one of the late, or then acting trustees, to be appointed by the board of t, us- tees for that purppse, ten days previous notice there- of shall be given by advertising the same in three (at least) of the most public places iu said town, and
