CHAPTER I.
AN ACT to eflabliIb Circuit Courts.,

W   HEREAS the prefent judiciary fyflem
is found to be inconvenient and ex-
penfive:
§ i. Be it therefore enafled by the General DlrrCa
4L1nmbly, that the prefent diftri61 courts and gnrralcourn
general court fliall be and are hereby abo-
lifhed, fo Loon as thisa61 takes eftet.
§2. Be it further enacted, that circuit Circ,,tourt,
courts (hall be and they are hereby eflab- eftabliffied.
liflbed, and fhall be held within the circuits
hereafter mentioned, to wit : the counties of
Montgomery and Floyd flhall compote one Mntgo ry
circuit, the circuit court for faid circuit flhall
be, held at the court houfe in the county of
Montgomery ; the counties of Bourbon and
Nicholas flhall compofe one circuit, and the Bourbon
court thereof flill be held in the court-houfe,
of Bourbon county ; the counties of Mafon  Aco.,
and Bracken thall ebmpolb nne circuit, and
the court thereof flail be held in the court-
