An Act to reduce into.,one the feveral acts for
the better regulating and collecting certain
Officers Fees,
Approved. December 2,d, 1798.
§ 1. BE it enacted by the General Afenibly,
that it fhialt and may be lawful fur the Re-
gifter, the Clerk of the court of appeals,
Clerks of the difiri6t courts, courts of quar-
ter feflions and county courts, juflices of the
Peace, Sheriffs, Coroners, Conflables and
Surveyors, to demand, receive and take, the
fpveral fees herein after mentioned, for any
bufinefs by them refpe6tively done by virtue
of their feveral offices, and no other fees
whatfoever,---that is to 11y:
