SecrION 1. 1k it enicted. go., That Jane Miller, a free person of color, in Clarke county be, and she is hereby authorized to vol-11,.. untarily become the slave of E. S. Sins for life. 2. Sc. 11. That in order to carry into effect the first section of this Act, tho'said E. S, Sins and the said Jane Miller shall go be- fore the J ustices of tho [nfirior Conrt, or a nujority of' them, inl said comity, who shall laithfilly litn fully examine her as to her willingness to become the slave fOr life of said E. S. Sims; and upon being satisfied of' the saine, they shall pass an order to the a offect that the said Jie Miller be held, deemed and considered the slave of' the said E. S.
