(No. 2S.) An Act to authorize Guardians of Free persons of Color, to make get- tlements with the Courts of Ordinary ; and for other purpoes. 13. SECTION I. Be it enacted, 4c., That from and after the pas- sage of this Act, all persons heretofore, or that may hereafter, be Retrn of appointed Guardian of any Free person of Color, in this State, : ena -or shall be allowed to make return of his or her acts as Guardian, as ' , aforesaid, upon oath, to the Ordinary of their respective counties; and that the same shall be recorded in said Court; which record shall be received as evidence in any Court of justice in this State. SSec. II. Repeals conflicting laws. Assented to 17th December, 1860. TITLE XI. GEORGIA ACADEMY FOR THE BLIND. SEc. 1. $7,000 appropriated for support of pupils in 1861; $1,000 to proxide a work department for pupils. (No. 29.) An Act to appropriate money for the support of the pupils of the Georgia Academy for the Blind. I SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Georgia, That $7,000 Tpro- the sum of seven thousand dollars be. and the same is hereby ap-npor o propriated, to support the pupils of the Georgia Academy for the M'il' for Blind, during the current political year; and that the further sum $1,ootopro- of one thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated, to epartmenet provide a work department for said pupils; and that the Governor is hereby authorized to draw his warrant on the Treasury, in favor of the Trustees of said Academy, for the said sums of money.
