.In A1ct to authorize James Clarke, administrator of the estate of
Joseph IWhite, deceased, to sell certain slaves therein named at
private sale.
S..mble'  Whereas, the embarrassed condition of the estate of Joseph
White, requires that the mal Henry (a gin-maker by trade) and
his mother, should be sold to the best advantage, and circumstances
rendering a public administrator's sale of said slaves at a fair price
impracticable:
i,rof . Section I. Be it therefore enacted, That James Clarke, adminis-
peph Wite, trator of the estate of Joseph White, late of Stewart county, deceas-

at private slaves, Henry and his mother at private sale, for such price as the

Ordinary of said county, and the admininistiator so appointed to fill
said vacancy, shall hold his odfice till the ncxt regular election there-
after.
