AN ACT
To establish Martin Hardin's ferry on qpring Creek in the counto'
ty of Decatur, and to establish the rates of toll.
Ile it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
State of Georgia, in General .Issembly iet, and it is hereby enacted
by the authority afor said, That thc ferry on Spring Creek for-
nerly known as Harden's ferry on Spring Creek, shall be a pub-
lic ferry, and shall be entitled to receive from all passengers the
following rates of toll, for qvery road waggon and team fifty cents,
for every gig and two horses thirty-seven and an half cents ; for
cart and team twenty-five cents ; for man and horse :welve and
an half cents; for led or drove horse six and a quarter cents ; fbr
each head of cattle, hogs, sheep or goats, one cent.
Suc. 2. qnd be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid,
That it shall be the duty of the proprietors of said ferry at all times
to keep a good and suflicient ferry, flat and attendance for the con-
veyance of the description carriages, ke. and may teceive the
above rates oftoll, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
