JB E it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen- latives qf the State qf Georgia in General Assembly net, and by the authority of the same, That from and after the pasSing of this adt, not more than one half of all the free persniis or slaves, subject to road duty upon the Islands of St. Sinons and Jekyl in the -county of Glynn, shall be subject to road duty on the main ; and in failing so to do, the said free person or persons, and ow- ner or owners of such slave-, shall be subject to the same fine as regulated by the before recited act, to be recover- ed apd appropriated as heretofore pointed out by law. 6 2.
