talished, to wit: For a loaded waggon and four horses,
one dollar; for an empty waggon and for horses, seven-
ty five cents ; for all four wheel pleasure carriages, one
dollar ; for a two wheel pleasure carriage, fifty cents ; for
a horse and cart, thirty-seven and a half cents ; for a
man and horse, twelve and a half cents ; for a led horse,
six and a quarter cents ; for a foot passenger, six and a
quarter cents ; for each head of cattle, three cents ; for
each head of hogs, sheep or goats, two cents.

To incorporate the town of Irwinton in the county of
Wilkinson.
-    El it enacted by the Senate and Ionse of Repre.
senatices of the State of Georgia in General .Alssem.
bly1 met, and it is hereby enaLted by the authority of the
,aame, That Solomon Worrel, David Roland, Adam
11unter, Peter M'Arthur and William Beck, shall be
the Commissioners of said town, and that they, and their
successors in oflice, or a mlljority of them, shall have full
power and authority to pa-s all bye-laws and regula.
tions which may be necessary for improving and repair-
ing the Public Squmare, treets and Springs (if said low n,
and the promotion of public good-Provided, that such
)ye laws and regulations shall not he repugiant to the
Consuitut ion and laws of this state ; and that no penalty
thereby imposed, shall extend to corporal punihmni' ut,
(except on slaves or persons of color)-Jud provided al-
so, that said Commissioners, shall not impose any poll
tax ipon the citizens of said town, which shall excced
one dollar withii the tern of one year.
