AN ACT
'fo amend an act, regulating roads in this state, so far as
respects the county of Glyn, passed on the thirtieth day
of November, 181,.
§ 1. B  E it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre.
sentatives of the Stale of Georgia in General Issembl'
met, That immediately after the passage of this act, lie
Justices of the Inferior court of GlynnD county, shall be,
and they are hereby authorised and required, to appoint
three coimmissioners for each road ofapablicnature in said
coity, who are to direct and superintend the labor to be
performed on said road or roads, and that the said Justi-
ves shall also have power and authority to fill all vacancies
in the board of commissioners, that may be occasioned
by death or otherwise, and that the power and authority
of the Commissioners previously appointed to the passing
of this act. shall henceforth cease and be determined.
I 2 And be it furthcv enacted, That the Justices of the
Inferior court ofthecounty of Glyn, or a majority of then,
iro hereby empowered at their discretion, (t reject or con.
Ulnnim all county roads heretofore laid out ; also, to appoint
superintendants for the same, at all times when requested,
and to apportion the hands for the said roads as they may
think most proper.
§ 3. Ind be it Purther ePnated, That the Justices of the
Tht'erior court aforesaid, shall have full power to regulate
and direct all things regarding the public roads, so far as
relates to the Island of St. Siiuous in the said rmnty, any
