-liable to road(I duty on the plantationsou the north side of
goent Ogechee, heretofore made liable to work on the
causeway, he continued. to work- on the same, and be sub,
ject to.the same road laws, rules and regulations as the in-
habitants of irvan count,.
§ 8. And be it further enacted by the authority afore-
said, ,Trhiat all law  and paris of laws militating against
this act, be, and the same are hereby repealed.

4 1. W  U it enacted by the Senate and House of Rep re-
selttites in General Assembily met, and it is herbyl en-
acted by the authority oJ the same, That the said Shaler
Hillyer, hi! heirs or assigns, be, and they are heeeby An.
thorised, to build a mill-datu across the said river at the
place aforesaid, and to keep the same in perpetual repair,
under the provisions and restrictions hereinafter pointed
out any law or parts of laws herctfore passed to' the, con.
trary notwithstandnig.
4 2. Alad be it furthev enacted, That the. said mill-'data
shall be so constrtucted. that it shall not on the highest
part thereof exceed four feet in perpendicular height, above
the common level of the river.
4 3. Alnd be it jutlker'emaeted. That theve shall be at
least twenty feet of said d;m, iiinediately over and acrogs
the main chaniel or sluite'of said river so toustructed, that
durihg the shad 4easoh or time: of catchlng shad, it can be.
