to accomplish the purpose aforesaid.
. § 2. And be it further enacted, That whei the tax ig
assessed as above poiited 6ut, the Tax Collector of said
county, for the time being, shall, and he is hereby author-
ized and etipowered, to collect the same; And the said,
Collector shall be bound to the Inferior court of said coun-
ty in a bond, with ample security, for the collection and
paying over the amount so assessed and collected to ti6
said Justices, for which collection thesaid Collector shall
receive two and a half per cent, out of the monies so col-
lected.
. § 3. .And be it further enacted, That It shall be law'
ful for the said Justices, or any three or more of them, and
they are hereby authorized and required, to lay out the
mionies collected by them for the purpose afore-mentioned,
as may in their opinion best secure and promote the com.
pletion of said Court-house-Provided, neither of the Jus.
tices aforesaid, shall become the.undertaker of.said build.

AN ACT
To amend a't act, to apyioint Commissioners for the better
regulation and government of the town of lilledgeville,
passed the 10th day of December, 1812.
5 1. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly
met, and by the authority qf the same, That all persons
residing within the town of Milledovill entitled to vote
lir members of the General Assembly, shall be entitled to
vote for Commissioners and Intendant of said town.
§ 2. .2nd be it further enacted, That the town of Mil-
lgeville shall be divided into four Wards, to wit; the
