AN ACT
To Divorce Elizabeth O'Reily and John O'Reily her hius..
band, and to secure certain property to the said Eliza-
beth, her heirs and assigns, and to divorce Rachel Jones
and Robert Jones her husband.
WHERMS It appears by al exeinplification of a record
from the honorable the Superior Court of the county of
Richmond, that sufficient reasons were offered before a spe-
cial jury of that county to induce them to find a verdict for
a total divorce between Elizabeth O'Reily and her husband
John 0'R1eily-aid whereas the said Elizabeth hath by her
humble petition, prayed that the said verdict may be con.
firmed by an act of the Generl Assembly of this state, and
that certain property which she has acquired by her honest
industry may be secured to her angd her heirs.
§ t. BE it therefore evacted by the Senate andtIlbuse of
Representatives Of the state of Georgia in General Js-
sembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the
same, That friom and imnuiediately after the passing of this
act, the matrimonial coinexion exis(ing between Elizabeth
0'Reily of the City of Augusta and John O'Reily her hus-
band, be thenceforth dissolved as fully, completely and en..
firely to all intents and purposes, so far as respects the said
Elizabeth, as if the same had never been entered into, and
the said Elizabeth shall thenceforth be considered as a feme
sole.
§ 2. Jnd be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid,
That all the property real and personal which the said Eli-
zabeth O'iReily bath acquired since the seperation of her
said husband from  her, particularly a house and lot on
broad street, in the city of Augusta, adjoining John Mann,
Esq. 41dtlie bieiro of Baxter Pool, dec. ad nine negroes'
