SEc. 4. Be itfurther enacted, That in all criminal prosecutions

SEIroN 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and Ifouse of Repre-
sentatives of the 8tate of ]lorida in General Assembly convened,
=contraets with That all contracts herctofbre made by executors, administrators,
fedmen legal.

benefit of the estates represented by them respectively, be and
the same are hereby legalized.
SEC..2. Be it farther enacted, That executors, administrators,
Contracts may trustees and guardians, when in their judgment it is necessary
be made by ad-
mioistrators to and proper to hire labor for the cultivation of the lands of the
hire laborers, estates represented by them  respectively, shall be and they are
hereby authorized, with the sanction of the Jndge of Probate,
to hire and employ such laborers and superintendments as shall be
necessary fbr that purpose, and their contracts so made shall be
binding upon the estates, and the compensation agreed upon to be
paid shall be a charge against said estates respectively, nor shall
the same be a personal charge against such executors, adminis-
trators, trustees and guardians, further than they have property
in their hands sullicient to nicet the same: Provided, That the
Lion oflaborers laborers aud superintendents thus employed shall have a first and
prior lien for their wages up)on ill crops grown, produced, gath-
ered or superintended by their labor and superintendence.
