CrAPTER 823.-[No. 49.]
AN ACT to repeal and amend the 4th section of an act entitled an Act an-
thorizicg a road tax in Hernando county, approved Dec. 14th, 1855.
SEcTroN 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen-
lepeaL      tatives of the Slate of Florida in General Assembly convened, That
the fourth section of an act authorizing a Road Tax in iernando
County, approved Dec. 14, 1855, be and the same [is] are hereby
repealed and annulled.

AN ACT to defipe specifically the Duties of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroo county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen.
Commissioners tativ'es of the State of Florida in General Assembly convened, That
foo( b U1d g1- hereafter the County Commissioners of the county of Monroe shall,
for rcords.  after the expenses of collection of the revenuo assessed and collected
for the use of said county, cause to be built a suitable fire-proof
Proviso,     building for the safe keeping of the county records, provided it does
not cost over one thousand two hundred and fifty dollars.
SFc. 2. Be it further enacted, That after the necessary expenses

nuotnhoap led House and all other county buildings, fences, roads, bridges, &c.,
r            the balance of the revenue collected shnll be applied for County
School purposes.
