AN ACT for tie benefit of Dr. Thomas M. Palmer and Drs. '- '. and Pal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and Iouse of Represent Comptroller to
at'ives of the State of Florida in General Assembly convened, That audit accounts.
the Comptroller be, and he is hereby instructed to tudit jil allow
the account of Dr. Thomas M. Palmer, of Jefl'erson Coui'y, for the
sum of thirty dollars, for post mortem  examination of tile body of
John Stafford.
Sirc. 2. Be it further enacted, That the Comptroller be, andl ho
is hereby instructed to audit, and allow the account of Drs. Taylor
and Palmer, of Jeflrson County, for Medical and Surgical services
rendered to Redding Evans, a prisoner in the Jail of JefIrson Coun-
ty, for the sum of one hundred dollars.

County, and State ot Georgia, shall be exempt from the payment of payment  of
the tax now imposed on every transient person not a resident of this ta.
State, hawkers or pedlars excepted, whlo shall sell, ofler to sell or
expose for sale goods, wares and Merchandise, not the growth or man-
ufacture of this State, and lie is hereby authoriz.d to [sell] shoes,
boots, anid leather manufietured on his promises, any where in this
State, free of charge and without license for such purpose, any. law
now in force in this State to the contrary notwithstanding.
