Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative Coun. cil of the Territory of Florida, That the act entitled An Act res- pecting the hostile Negroes and Mulattoos in the Seminole Na- tion, be, and the same is declared hereby repealed. Approved 14th January, 1837. No. 2. AN ACl' to change the County Seat and place of holing the County Courts of the County ofFranklin. Whereas, the Legislative Council of the Territory of Florida at the last session thereof, viz: eighteen hundred and thirty-six, Preamble, upon a petition of the inhabitants of Franklin County, in said Territory, enacted and declared the city of St. Joseph to be tile public site of said County : And whereas, the said act has been animulled by the Congress of the United States, contrary to usage and the local rights at'the people of Florida : And whereas, a large majority of the citizens of Franklin County at a recent
