Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative Coun, cil of the Territoiy of Florida, That the several officerq here- inaftor named, shall be entitled to demand and receive the fol- lowing fees respectively, viz The Secretary of the Territory, shall receive, for every offli cial certificate and seal, One Dollar. Recording and copy- ing papers in his office, for the First One Hundred words, 'Twenty-Five cents : every subsequent Iundred words, Fifteen cents. The Surveyor of each Courty shall receive for his services, such compensation as may from time to time be established by the County Courts respectively. The Clerk of the Court of Appeals, and Clerks of the Su- perior and County Courts shall receive for entering appearance of Defendant in person or by Attorney, Six and One-Fouith cents.
