To incorporate the City of Tallahassee.
Be it enacted by tic Governor and Lcgislaivc Council
City oF''Ialla. of the Tcrrifory of Florida, 1'liat all the free white;

rated,       comprehended within the south cast quarter of sec-
tion thirly-sik, township one, range one, north of the ba-
sis parallel, and west of Ohe meridian, in the county of
Leou and District of Middle Florida, and two huudred
feet outside ofthe said boundatry line, and their suc-
cessors, be, and remain for the terrm of five years, from
the first (lay of'January one thousand eight hundred and
twenty seven, a body corporate, by the oame and style
of the city of' Tallahassee ; and by their corporate

and do all otlter acts as natural persons, anld may pur-
chase and hold real, personal and mixed property, or
