AN ACT To regullatc Ilic forcclosutre of \1or-tgaes by the courts of Coill. mon L'w of this 'rcrritoqv, and for otlicr ptlpOSCs. .Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative Council lortgage as. of the Territory of Florida, That it shall and may be sgmile. lawful for any mortgagee or mortgag'ees to assigin and transfer any mortgage made to him, her, or them. And the person or persons, to whom an) mortgage may be jissigned or transerred, may also assign avid tiansfer it, and they and their assigns, or any subsequent as- signees, may lawfully have, take, and pursue the same ineans and remedies, which any mortgagee can or may lawfully have, take, or pursue, for the foreclosure ofany mortgage, and for the recovery of the money secured thereby. See. 2.
