CHAPTER OXXVI.
Joint Reiolution authorizing James L. Miles, Treasurer of Debl-
ware Collego, to take charge of minerals belonging to 'thi:
State, and deposit the same in Delaware College.
Resolled by the 6'eiate and ]THouse of Representattive of the
A'tate of Aawt-are in General Assembly met, That Jancs L.
Miles, Ti-casurer of Delaware College, be, and he is hereby au-
thorized and dircoted to cause all minerals, shells arid geological Mim-ran, &c.,U
specimens, now in* the room of tie Capital 1ulilding, used as a  1, '1.'4
State Library Room, to be packed in a box or boxes, and to have ofO.Wi'
the same convoyed to Dehldware College, there to be deposited and
kept until called for by authority of the Legislature of this State,
when the sane shall be promptly delivered by the authorities of
said College to the person authorized by the Logislature.to receive
the same.

CHAPTER CXXVII.
.Wmbu-uu:.t, it is   Wssented to the Glenral Assembly that a
negro boy belongiris o Jamncs.L. Bewley, was kidnapped on the
twenty-fourth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and
lifty, in one of the public streets in the town of Smyria; and for
the purpose of appreheiding said kidnappers, and preventing
their escape, the said James L. 13ewley was induced by a nuni-
her of respectable citizens of said town to oiler a reward of fifty
dollars in advance of a reward which was subsequently offered by
the Governor of the State of one hundred dollars: And whereas
said kidnappers were arrested under the reward ellored by the
said liewley, prior to the reward offered by the Glovernjor; and
which allmount of ifty dollars, together with tenl do> s for. in for-
niationi in regard to said kidnappers were paid 1  said Bewley,
thereby saving to the Suithet  van of forty dollars; and whrerea
