SEc. 17. And be it further enacted, That the act Repeal. against forcible entry, barratrv, maintenance, champerty I vol. 239. and embracery, 1 and the twelfth section of the act for 2 vol. 1153. the better regulation of distresses for rent and for other purposes therein mentioned, and the supplement to the 3 vol. 288. said act passed at Dover January 26, 1803, and the first 4 vol. 441. and second sections of the additional supplement to said act passed.at Dover February 2, 1811, and the proviso of 6 vol 298. the fourth section of the further supplement to the said act passed at Dover February 3, 1823, shall be and here- by are repealed from and after the first day of June next.
