1824, RESOLVED by the Senate and House of Rep.
resentatives of the State of Delaware, in General
ce an sat.Assembly met, That to complete a digest of the
ue it) bc -laws of this State, it is expedient that the statutes,
coming properly under the following general titles,
to wit ; Crimes and Punishments-Elections-
Fees- Fen ce-viewers-Justices of' the peace-Le-
vy court, including all la 's relative to the duties of
that court and to county rates and levies-Negroes
and Mulattoes-the Poor- Koad h-and Servants
and AippreitICes-should be revised, and that the
principl's contained in these statutes should be
embraced bN a general act relative to each title.
N.          Rt Revolved, That Nicholas Ridgely, Esquire, and
W. ii!l ap-.WTillard Hall, Esquire, be appointed to carry into

to have 4 gen-shall have a general discretion, to omit such exist-
dlSting provision ai ihey shall consider unnecessary,
and to vary existing provisions whenever they may
think a variance suitable to render the general sys-
ten consistent, or more perspicuous, or better a-

sed in the first resolution, whenever they shall con-
sider that the same can be applied with propriety.
