AN ACT to incorporate the trustees of Bridge ville institution. SEIC. I. 13 IT ENACTED by the Senate and rirst trustees lonse of Representatives qf the State of Delaware incorporatte in General Assemblymet, That Doctor John Cary, Doctor Beijamin Hudson, Abediego Elliot, George Polk, Williami Hudson, William N. Polk and William Laws, and their successors, he, and they are hereby declared to be, one body politic and cor- porate,to have continuance until the first Wednesday of A pril eighteen hundred and eighteen. Trusteestabe SEc. 2. .Andbe it enacted, That, on the first elected annu-WednesdayofApriil ight(enhundred and eighteen, ally, an election shall be held at the school house in Bridgeville by the subscribers to the said institu- tion, and elect seven trustees for the ianagement of the concerns thereof for one year and so on annual- ly forever, SEc. 3. .2nd be it enacted, That the trustees, so wVhen soec-elected, shall be, an(d they are hereby constituted, a ted to be j'body politic and corporate, by the name of gthe body politc.1 trustees of the -Bridgeville institution in the county of Sussex; and by that name shall have perpetu- al succession, may sue and be sued, plead and ba impleaded, in any court of law or equity.
