ACTS OF

SEc. 9. Be it further enacted, That the Treasurer be required
to publish on the back of each bond a synopsis of his authority
for making said loan, together with the conditions thereof, the
liability of the State therefor, and the penalty for counterfeit-
ing.
SEC. 10. Be it further enacted, That the Treasurer be, ant
he is hereby required, to make out under oath, a report to the
next session of the General Assembly of his doings under and
by virtue of this act.
SEC. 11. Be it further enacted, That this act shall take effect
from and after its passage.
Passed on reconsideration by constitutional majority, Decem-
ber 23d, 1864.

AN ACT to amend the Revenue Laws of this State, and to repeal
certain acts named.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State
of Arkansas, That the act passed by the General Assembly
entitled an act to amend the revenue laws of this State, ap-
proved May 31st, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four,
and also an act entitled an act to regulate the collection of
revenue, approved May 28th, one thousand eight hundred and
sixty-four, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That the revenue laws as
found in Gould's Digest, Chapter 148, be, and the same are,
hereby recognized as in full force and virtue, except so much
as shall be in conflict with this act.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That the words slave or
slaves, in Chapter 148, of Gould's Digest, be, and the same
are, hereby stricken out.
SEC. 4. Be it further enacted, That the following matters and
things be made subjects of taxation for State purposes, in addi-
tion to those named in Chapter 148 in Gould's Digest: Money
on hand over two hundred dollars; all income, from whatever
source, over six hundred dollars, provided the source from which
said income was derived has not been taxed for the current
year; all money invested in the purchase of the products of
the country for shitment or sale.
