regular session, and shall receive for their compensation and
full pay for said services and all expenses, six per cent. upon
all money collected and paid into the State treasury by the
several officers appointed by them.
SEc. 8. Be it further enacted, That whenever said committee
shall appoint any sheriff assessor or collector, they shall imme-
diately notify the Secretary of State, the Auditor and Treas-
urer, giving his name and locality, who shall keep a list of
said appointments in their respective offices, and any and all
sales or assessments of property made by said appointeed in
accordance with this act, and the laws regulating the sale and
assessment of property in this State, shall have the same force
and effect as now provided by law, and shall be subject to the
same redemption.               I
SEC. 9. Be it further enacted, That upon the certificate of
the Treasurer given the committee, stating the amount received
into the treasury of this State from any and all of the above
appointees, the Auditor shall draw his warrant upon the Treas-
urer for the amount herein allowed as full payment and com-
pensation to said committee, and the Treasurer is hereby
authorized to give said certificate to said committee when called
upon by them.
SEC. 10. Be it further enacted, That said committee is hereby
invested with fll power to extcute the provisions of this act,
and they are herchy required to make out and report, under
oath, a full and complete statement of all of their acts to the
next session of the General Assembly of this State.
SEC. 11. Be it further enacted, That in case of the death,
removal or resignation, of either of the above committee, as
provided in section first, then the other member of said com-
mittee shall continue to discharge the entire duty thereof.
Ssc. 12. Be it further enacted, That this act take effect and
be in full force from and after its passege.
Passeri upon reconsideration by a constitutional majority,
December 29th, 1864.
