AN ACT for the relief of Giles N. Kelley, and to declare him of age,
and competent to receive his property.
WHEREAs, Giles N. Kelley of the county of Pike, and who is now
about twenty years of age, has intermarried with Ann Mariah
Mobley of said county, by which intermarriage the said Giles N.
in right of his said wife has acquired a considerable estate, and so
being a minor was compelled to have a guardian appointed to
manage and control his estate: Therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Sale of. Arkansas,
That the said Giles N. Kelley is hereby declared to be of lawful
age, sufficient to receive and receipt for the money and property
acquired in right of his said wife; and that Elijah Kelley, Sr., his
guardian be and is authorized by this act to make settlement with,
pay over and deliver to the said Giles N. all such money and
property as he may have in his hands belonging to the said Giles
N. in right of his said wife, and that all receipts, acknowledg-
ments and acquittances executed by the said Giles N. shall have
the same force and effect and be as valid in law as if he were
twenty-one years of age and were to execute the same.
That this act take effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT to amend the patrol laws.
Sxc'rIoN 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the &ate of
Arkansas, That for and during the continuance of the existing
war, all able-bodied white male inhabitants of this State, between
forty and sixty years of age shall be subject to perform the duty
of patrols, wien appointed by the proper authorities under the
existing laws.
SEc. 2. Be it further enacted, That all persons within the ages
aforesaid not otherwise exempted shall be liable to road duty
under the same regulations as now provided by law for persons
between the ages of sixteen and forty-five years.
Sic. 3. That this act take effect from and after its passage.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of
Arkansas, That from and after the passage of this act, all sales of
land, whethcr of resident or non-resident owners, shall take place at
the time and place, and in the manner now prescribed by law for
