amount of the original subscription shall be recovered, (if not
otherwise settled,) by action against the original subscriber, or
the person to whom the stock may be assigned.
SEC. 7. Be it further enacted, That no officer of the company,
or board of direcetors shall contract any liabilities binding on
the individual stockholders of the company beyond the amount
he or they may subscribe as stock to said company.
SEC. 8. Be it further enacted, That the stock of this company
shall be exempt from taxation for the first five years after the
company goes into operation.
SEC. 9. Be it further enacted, That this act shall take effect
and be in force from and after its passage.
