Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas, That the inhabitants of the town of Hamburg, in the county of Ashley, within the following limits be, and the same are hereby created a body corporate, to-wit: beginning at a stake, the north-east corner of the south-east quarter of the south-east quarter of section fourteen, in township seven- teen south, range seven west, running thence south one hundred and ten yards, to a stake; thence west two hundred and twenty yards, to a stake; thence south five hundred and fifty yards, to a stake; thence west one mile, to a stake; thence north one mile to a stake; thence east one mile, to a stake; thence south to the north boundary line of the above named south-east quarter of the south-east quarter of section fourteen, township seventeen south, rarge seven west; thence east to the beginning, the usual variation of the needle being allowed in running said lines. Sec. 2. The style of said corporation shall be, the corpo- ration of the town of Hamburg, and said inhabitants and their successors, for the term of ninety-nine years, shall be a body politic and corporate, in deed and in fact, and in such corporate capacity; and by such, their corporate name and style, shall be able in law and equity, to have, purchase, receive, possess, and enjoy lands, tenements, hereditaments, franchises,
