S.c. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of
Arkansas, That hereafter the circuit court of the county of Phillips
shall commence and be holden on the third Mondays after the first
Mondays of May and November in each year.
SEc. 2. Be itfurther enacted, That no suit, action, recognizance,
hail bond, appeal or other proceeding pending in said circuit court,
or made returnable to said court as fixed by the laws now in force
shall be avoided, impaired or affected by the provisions of this act,
but that all such process and other proceedings shall stand and be re-
turnable to the court held according to this act, and shall have full ef-
fect accordingly; and all continuances in said court shall be from the
last term to the term appointed by this act; and that no suit or other
proceeding pending in or returnable to said court shall be discontin-
ued or in any manner affected by the change hereby made.
NFc. 3. Be it further enact d, That all laws in conflict with this
