Johnson and his guards for conveying Green W. Hampton to the penitentiary of this State; and the auditor of public accounts is hereby authorized and required to draw his war- rant on the treasury in favor of the said Johnson for said sum of mo- ney. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Me State of Arkansas, That Crawford Walker, adminisirator of the estate of John Magness of White county, deceased, be, and he is hereby authorized to sell all the slaves belonging to said estate, on such credit, and under such restrictions, as may be prescribed by the probate court of said county. SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, -That the proceeds of the sale of said slaves shall be assets in the hands of said administrator, and to be accounted for in the same manner, as other assets in his hands be - longing to said estate. SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That this act take effect, and be in force from and after its passage. JOHN S. ROANE, Speaker - of the House of Representatives.
