An Act to authorize Hlenry J. Kemble, Administrator of the Estate of
Benjamin Kemble, sen., deceased, to sell the Slaves belonging to said
Estate.

1. Noticeto be given.          2. Proceedsof Vale, howaccounted for.
Be it enacted by the General lssembly of the State of Arkansas,
That Henry J. kemble, administrator of the estate of Benjamin
Kemble, sen.; deceased, be, and he is hereby, authorized to sell, at
public auction, on the first day of January next, at the court-louse
door in the town of Washington, for cash, all the slaves belonging to
said estate, by giving twenty days' notice of such sale, by at least six
advertisements, put up at six of the most public places in the county
of Hempsteid.
SEc. 2.. 1d be it furthe'r enacted, That the money received for
said slaves, shall be accounted for by said administrator, in the same
way as other moneys belonging to said estate.

An Act to authorize William W. Stevenson, Administrator of the Estate
of Mrs. Jane Read, decoased, to make Titles to Land.
SECTION 1. To make title to William Russell.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas,
That William W. Stevenson, administrator of the estate of Mrs. Jane
Read,late of the county of Washington, deceased, be, and he is hereby,
authorized to make execute, acknowledge, and deliver, unto Williamn
Russell, of St. Louis county, in the state of Missouri, his 'heirs or as-
signs, a good legal deed and conveyance, in fee simple, therein and
thereby conveying to the said William Russell, and to his heirs and
assigns for ever, the whole of the east fractional half of section ten, in
township two south, of range four east, from the fifth principal meridian,
lying in the county of Phillips, containing two hinidred afid eighty-
nine acres and forty-seven hundredths of an acre of land, patented by
the United States to the said Jane Read and her heirs, by patent
bearing date the 15th day of. May, A. D. 1835; and in and by such
deed to convey to, and vest in, the said William Russell, his heirs and
assigns, for ever, all the right, title, interest, estate, and claim, of the
