An act to locate the Seat of Justice of Missiesippi County, and
fur other purposes.
SEc. I. Be it enacted by the Gencral Assembly of the State
of .rkansoa, That Edwin Jones, Frederick Weller, Lastty
McLang, John Iluckner, and John G. Davis, be, and they
are hereby, appointed commissioners, any three of whom shall
Commission, constitute a quorum to do business, permanently to locate the
tie appointed, seat of justice for Mississippi county, and io superintend the
building of a court-house and jail at said seat ofjustice, whenl
so lobated as aforesaid.
SEc. 2. Be it fitrther enacted, That the said commissioners,
before entering bn the duties of their offices as commission-
ers as aforesaid, shall, 4efore the judge of the county court,

SEc. 3. Be it further enacted, That the said commissioners
shall, as soon as practicable after the passage of this act, pro-
ceed to locate the seat of justice aforesaid, and to secure to

SEc. 4. Be it further enacted, That the commissioners
aforesaid shall have full power to receive donations of land,
money, or other thing, for the purpose of building a court-
