certified lv said clerk, in the office of the clerk of
Sevier county, which transcript, when so filed,
shall have the same effect of an original record, to
the same extent as though no change had taken
place.
Sec. 2. And be it further enaeted, That the
said John Clark, ad ministrator as aforesaid, shall
conduct the said administration, in the county of
Sevier, in the same manner, and be liable to the
same extent, and in the same way, as though ad-
iinistration had been originally taken out in the
said county of Sevier.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this
act shall be in force, from and after its passage.

Sec. 1. He it enacted by the General Assembly
of the Territory of arkansas, That if any per- stealirso
son or persons shall steal. fi-uam iny other person groes, oes,
or person-, within this territory, any negro or ne- &c. deemed
groes, horse, mare, gelding, mule, or ass, he, she, felnm, and to
or they, so offendill, shall, on conviction thereof, sutter death,
by due course of law, he deemed guilty of felony,
and shall stillfr death.
Sec. 2. And be it farther enacted. That the pormuer act
