To increase tfie 'daries of Chancellore and Judges of
the Circuit Court.
SECTION 1. Be it LJacted by t0 Sntle an:d  8ouse Of Rep-
resentatives of the, State of Atabuma in General Assembly
convened, That the siaaries of chancellors and judges of incroased so
the Circuit Courts of this Stato be increascd fifty per per cent.
cent. on the amounts now allowed them by law : Pro-
vided, that any future Logislature may decrease or reduce
the same : And provided, this inreuse shell only remain
during the prese; nt war between the Confederate States
and the United States: Providld, that the provisions of lrovi
this act shall only apply to suchi judges and chancellors
