No. 555.]               AN ACT
For the relief of the estate of Gray Little.
Whereas, Gray Little died intestate in Sumter county,
and whereas Ben. B. Little and Win. G. Little, jr., are ad.
ministrators of his estate by appointment of the probate
court of said county; and whereas, the said estate has been
ordered by said probate court to be kept together for ten
years; and whereas, Win. W. Little, one of the heirs and
distributees of said estate has arrived at the age of twenty-
one years, and has received from said administrators, his Preamble.
distributive share of the personal portion of said estate and
is entitled to one-eighth part of the real estate; and where-
as, it would be for the interest of theother heirs of said
estate that his part of the real estate should be purchased
by the said administrators; and whereas, also, it would be
for the interest of said estate, that a portion of the slaves
belonging thereto, should be sold and the proceeds of sale
invested by said administrators in the purchase of other
slaves, or in the purchase of the interest of said Win. W.
Little, in the real estate for the benefit of the other heirs
and distributees of said estate.
Siec. 1. Be it therefore enacted by the Senate and House of
Representatives of the State of Alabama in General Assembly
convened, Thab the said administrators of the estate of the Probate Court.

leave to sell any of tho slaves belonging to said estate as
provided in sectton 1744 of the Code of Alabama, and the
same proceedings shall be thereupon had, as are provided
for in said section, and in sections 1745, 1746, 1747 and
1748; and if the sale shall be ordered by the court the
court shall designate in its order the time, place and terms
of Pale.
